Itinerary
- Raffles Place: We will start off at Raffles Place, where Singapore's early beginnings as a financial centre first took root. Change is constant here, and yet many facets of its history are lovingly preserved. You just need to know where to look.
- Marina Bay: Proceeding over to the newer CBD along Marina Bay, get to know about Marina Bay's formation and how it became so visually stunning, with an eclectic mix of commercial, entertainment and residential developments.
- Clifford Pier: As we walk along Collyer Quay overlooking the bay, you will be surprised by many vignettes of old/new buildings that have been transformed and repurposed.
- Jubilee Bridge: Across the bay at Singapore River, marvel at the expansive view while getting an appreciation of urban planning, visually.
- Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay: Ending off at the Esplanade Promenade and looking back, I am sure your impression of Marina Bay is now more than post card memories.

Details
Today, anyone familiar with Singapore will easily recognise the waterfront skyline of the Marina Bay. However, fifty years ago, Marina Bay does not yet exist and the area is just open sea by the mouth of the Singapore River. It was just an idea, a thought, a reverie...that is to be realised over the long arc of long term planning. This is a journey that I will take you ... come join me, to see how a city is transformed into an endearing place to live, work and play.
