Itinerary
- Uplistsikhe Winery: Uplistsikhe is carved in a rock located 12 km east of the town of Gori on the left bank of the River Kura. The city emerged in the late II - early I millennium BC. e., experienced several ups and downs, was finally abandoned in the XIX century and is, therefore, a multi-layered archaeological site, one of the most important monuments of Georgian culture.
- Stalin Museum: Stalin’s Museum, where the dictator's personal belongings are stored.
- Jvari Church: Next, we’ll hit the 6th-century Jvari Monastery, which sits pretty on a mountain and offers fantastic views of Mtskheta.
This UNESCO World Heritage spot has that spiritual vibe going strong. - Svetitskhoveli Cathedral: Your tour will end at the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, a cultural masterpiece with ornate carvings and frescoes.
