Itinerary
- Valley of the Kings: We will pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada by first-class air-conditioned bus for a 3 1/2 hours drive to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you will be met by your tour guide, who will join you for the visit to the Valley of the Kings: the final resting place of Egypt’s rulers from the 18th to 20th dynasty. It is home to tombs including the ones of great pharaoh Ramses and boy pharaoh Tutankhamun. The tombs were well stocked with all the material goods a ruler might need in the next world. Most of the decorations inside the tombs are still well preserved. - Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari: Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately 1490-1469 B.C). Hatshepsut is the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt. Afterwards you will pass by the colossi of Memnon which are remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III.
- Temple of Karnak: No site in Egypt is more impressive than Karnak Temple. It is the largest temple complex ever built by man. It represents the combined achievement of many generations of ancient builders and Pharaohs. The Temple of Karnak actually consists of three main temples situated on 247 acres of land.
