- Piazza del Campo: The narrow cobbled streets lead down to one of the most beautiful and greatest medieval squares in Italy, the Piazza del Campo where the Palio horse race is held each year in July and August
- Walls of Monteriggioni: Monteriggioni retains many of its original 13th century architectural features. Enjoy a stroll along the top of the castle walls to enjoy glorious views of the Chianti countryside.
- San Gimignano: In the afternoon we'll enjoy a stroll around the medieval tower topped town of San Gimignano with time to explore the delightful cobbled streets and piazzas. The town is renowned for its white Vernaccia di San Gimignano wine and certainly not to miss is a visit to the Gelateria di Piazza, where Sergio Dondoli creates award- winning gelato with flavours including Vernaccia wine sorbet!
- Duomo di Siena: Don't miss this incredible gothic black and white marbled cathedral (1136-1382) with its stunning marble-inlaid floor and filled with filled with treasures by Pisano, Donatello and Michelangelo as well as frescoes by Pinturicchio.
