Details

This tour allows to explore villages on Mount Parnassus, the famous Oracle of Delphi, medival Monasteries and of course taste the Greek cousine. Starting from Athens, crossing two provinces you will reach the Oracle of Delphi. You will visit the most powerful Ancient Greek sanctuary of Apollo where people would go to get answers. Having formed history for many centuries still preserves the temple of Apollo, the Theatre, the Stadium and numerous offerings to the prophet god. Next follows the Museum of Delphi famous for its Charioteer bronze statue. Propably hungry by then we'll get to Delphi village and enjoy an authentic lunch. Next we will continue driving until Kalabaka, the town below Meteora Rocks to spend the night. Next day we will see Meteora closer enjoing the most breathtaking view in the country. You will visit two of the ”suspended” Monasteries and experience their atmosphere of serenity. Last stop will be Thermopylae and the statue of Leonidas above his cenotaph.
