- Mosque of Muhammad Ali: You will visit Citadel of Salah El-Din, Mohammed Ali Mosques. This was built by Saladin in the time of the crusades wars. Later it was converted into a mosque built on the same style as Sultanahmet in istanbul.
- Mosque of Amr Ibn Al-As: This mosque was the first mosque ever built when Islam religion spread in Egypt.
- The Hanging Church: The hanging church is known by this name as it is hanging on the gatehouse of the roman fortress, Babylon Fortress. In order to go up, the visitor needs to climb 29 steps. Early travelers in the Middle Ages named it “Staircase Church” . The Hanging Church is the most famous Coptic Christian church in Cairo, as well as possibly the first built in basilican style.
