The Egyptian Museum in Cairo: Start your tour at the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities in Tahrir Square. See the largest collection of Egyptian art in the world, with more than 250,000 artifacts from Egyptian history. The museum’s exhibits include a room dedicated to the treasures of King Tutankhamun, buried in his tomb for more than 3,500 years before they were discovered in the 1920s.
Citadel of Saladin: Tour the Medieval part of Cairo, including the Citadel of Saladin and its Alabaster Mosque, before heading to the Great Pyramids of Giza to explore the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerions.
